These are Black Spotted Gambusia (aka Melanistic Mosquito Fish) that I’ve bred and raised from 2 different strains of parent fish one strain originally purchased on Aquabid collected in Kissimmee, Florida and the second strain collected personally in Brooksville, Florida. The parent stock are black spotted Male AND Black Spotted (melanistic) Females, however they do not breed 100% spotted fry at least not yet. Both the males and females continue to gain spots and the spots become larger, more distinctive as they mature. They have a bright silvery-white body with black spots on the body of the males with a slight yellow glow in the gill area. They are a very active fish and swim very fast like a wild fish. They look like a combination of a guppy and a marble mollie if you’ve never seen this fish before. They are a great beginners fish as well as a novelty for advanced aquarist. They hardly eat their fry. I have a trio with a spotted male and 2 standard looking females with spotted lineage at young breeder size up for sale almost the size of the actual fish shown in the photos for sale below. Visit my ‘Justme’ Page for more info. I’ll combine any other items you may be interested in purchasing from my farm to minimize your shipping cost. See list below for other items available. Thanks, Mitchell
